I am a climate science researcher passionate about environmental causes. I previously worked at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) as a software engineer and for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders as digital communication officer. I hold a PhD in science communication and machine learning.
I am currently an EU Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA), where I research the impact of clouds on climate change. I love science, wine, and everything fine in life, and wish to contribute to climate policy and advocacy someday. I think written words are the best invention of humankind, followed closely by peanut butter and toast.
Always be suspicious of someone who is incapable of laughing at themself. One has to be able to appreciate that as sombre as it can be, life is also absurd and improbable, and the only way to get through it is with humour, grace, and humility. #SundayThoughts
